Denver & Rio Grande Western Key

Not sure when the transition or name change happened to the Denver & Rio Grande railroad. The markings changing to the Denver & Rio Grande Western railroad. I have a cast signal D&RG lock dated 1929. Obviously hardware was stamped in over lapping time frames. In my opinion a seldom offered key marked this old from the D&RGW railroad. 95 percent of them have the small Adlake on them. Having the big curved ADLAKE dating it around 1910 to 1930's. I have also seen a D&RGW key having the A&W oval logo. Go figure having the A&W oval logo dating it around 1900 to 1920. Anyway would be an excellent upgrade for the collection replacing your small Adlake with a older key. Well marked back side has the big curved ADLAKE, serial number S 14918 and S for switch.
