Usually for personal sentimental reasons or railroad retirement gifts keys were chrome plated. This particular key was marked for the Illinois Central railroad. Key has moderate pocket wear. An older IC key having the big curved left sided Adlake. Back side also has the S for switch, and serial number 101. A different variation to obtain for the Illinois Central key collectors. ( JW )
