For all you Eastern road key collectors, here is your chance to own a top shelf key. The Lehigh Valley railroad was in operation from 1855 to 1976. Front has LV RR with the double SS, guessing maybe stands for Standard Switch. Back side has G W Noch the key maker, with serial number 5998. Barrel has a very slight bend to it. Considering the age of this key, could be cirrca Civil war era age. Check out the 3rd picture to get a good look at the slight bend to the barrel. Not sure but I believe the G W Noch was very early railroad hardware supplier. ( 1850's - 1870's ) Making this key a very early example from this road the Lehigh Valley railroad.
